Cartagena julio 2003

Convento de San Agustin.
Ciudad Amurallada
The Ciudad Amurallada (Walled City) is the old section of Cartagena. It is, as its name suggests, surrounded by a high wall that was originally for protection from seafaring enemies such as pirates. Today it mainly serves to insulate the city, keeping temperatures nice and high.
