Ice Crystals

This morning when I opened my shutters and looked out the side window something looked strange down on the ground. I knew I had just walked through there yesterday, and it was a little squishy, but not that squishy. It seemed as though things had grown, so I went out for closer inspection. This is what I found. Ice crystals had pushed up the grains of dirt and pebbles, in these funny formations. I have never seen such a thing!
